Oct. 2022 School’s limited time, faculty capacity, and classroom visibility have resulted in low fidelity teaching. Palo SEL emerges as the optimal solution to these challenges.
Jan. 2023 Students logged in for the first time. Teachers and administrators received newsletters, extension activities, and reports to infuse SEL into school practices.
2022-2023 School praised for its seamless implementation and flexible model, the engaging SEL program has become a daily highlight, much loved by students.
2023-2024 The continued use of Palo for character education has led to positive outcomes, including improved math and reading scores, increased attendance, and reduced office discipline referrals (ODRs).
How it’s implemented
  • The school has decided that the 5-Day Model fits seamlessly into their daily advisory period.
  • Counselors and teachers review the scope and sequence to modify it to meet their behavior goals.
  • Students log in to the Palo Platform during the advisory period to learn critical skills for succeeding in middle school.
